Since I started lifting my only goal has been to get smaller and stronger. I wanted less body fat and as much definition as possible. For more than two years it evaded me, but this summer I finally got to a point where I felt like I had reached my goal. I was in the best shape of my life and felt stronger than ever. Once I started school back up I realized that just maintaining my weight wasn’t enough for me and that I needed a new goal. The idea of competing in a body building competition has been an idea that I have kept thinking about since last spring but I finally felt that I was in a place physically and mentally to take on that challenge. Right now I am about eight months away and am in phase I on the road to my first body building competition in April.
