If you are reading this you probably stumbled onto my blog by accident or curiosity, and to be honest thats how I found my way back to my blog. Its been a hot minute since I posted to it and I can't believe how much has changed in my life since I last published a post (update to be posted later). The idea of running a blog has come back into the list of ideas to accomplish, but I want to do it with a little bit more purpose and effort to get somewhere with it. That's where my readers come in, I have burning desire to help others do what I am doing myself, but don't want to be another generic fitness/life coach utilizing every social media platform to advance their programs and somehow separate themselves from everyone else. I want my social media accounts to be my personal ones and my website to be my main form of connection with others, focusing on helping a few quality individuals vs helping the mediocre masses. What I hope to do is grow with the individuals I'm helping through referrals and personal networking. My ultimate goal would be able to fill whatever role would be needed by the individuals I would be helping, wether that be a coach, a motivator, a cheerleader, or an "accountability buddy". No two people are alike and neither should the strategy to help them. If you would be interested in any personal assistance services please feel free to fill out the survey or post a comment below. I would love to hear what kind of services readers would like to have access to.

Note: This article is based solely on what I have done for a reverse diet since my show and what I have found has worked for me based on all of the research I have done. What I have done and plan on doing might not work for you depending on where you started and what your goal is. With any dieting and exercise programs, do your research and find what works best for you based on your goals.
Reverse dieting is exactly what it sounds like it is… Instead of reducing the number of calories consumed each week or day, calories are added back in very slowly. Reverse dieting can be used by anyone, but it is most often used by those of us who have decreased our calorie intake and body fat percentage for a specific event and want to get back to more sustainable calorie levels without gaining back large amounts of body fat. What a crazy three weeks it’s been! Tomorrow marks three weeks post show, and I have finally found the time to sit down and write this post now that my crazy, busy and stressful junior year has come to a close. Most blatant way I can put my show recap was that it was an experience to say the least. I ended up loosing 10 pounds in 13 weeks and was the smallest and leanest bikini competitor in my height class. I didn’t place as well as I would have liked but can definitely say I learned far more than I ever thought I would from competing and prep. I couldn’t have done it without the support of my close friends and family. Having talked with other competitors, I realized my prep was a breeze and I truly felt like I put the best body and presentation on stage I possibly could have.
Since I started lifting my only goal has been to get smaller and stronger. I wanted less body fat and as much definition as possible. For more than two years it evaded me, but this summer I finally got to a point where I felt like I had reached my goal. I was in the best shape of my life and felt stronger than ever. Once I started school back up I realized that just maintaining my weight wasn’t enough for me and that I needed a new goal. The idea of competing in a body building competition has been an idea that I have kept thinking about since last spring but I finally felt that I was in a place physically and mentally to take on that challenge. Right now I am about eight months away and am in phase I on the road to my first body building competition in April.
